The Global Regenerative Academy (GRA) is a multidisciplinary, non-profit organization* of health professionals focusing on the investigation, development and clinical use of regenerative therapies. The members include both clinicians and basic scientists working in diverse fields of regenerative medicine. The sections of the Academy are Regenerative Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Regenerative Gynecology & Obstetrics, Regenerative Urology & Andrology, Regenerative Neurology, Regenerative Plastic Surgery, Regenerative Dermatology & Aesthetic Medicine.
The GRA organizes educational activities such as courses, hands-on trainings, local focus group meetings related to the clinical use of regenerative therapies. The Annual Global Regenerative Congress is the highlight of these activities bringing together experts from over 50 countries to present novel therapies, discuss established procedures and provide networking opportunities. Building on the success of the first two congresses in Sofia and Dubai, the third Annual Congress will take place in Istanbul on 15-18 September 2022. Further educational material is provided in the Academy website, physician portal, newsletters, e-mail content, and social media.
The Academy sections aim to develop and standardize protocols for the evidence based use of novel biotechnologies. This is done through collaborative multi-center studies bringing together the expertise of diverse institutions in Europe, South America, Middle East, Asia, and Australia. Another area of interest is developing and obtaining patents for novel regenerative technologies.
Preparations for the Global Regenerative Journal are underway and the academy aims to create an open access, peer reviewed journal focusing on publishing high quality research on regenerative medicine.
